Work Package 4 - Organisational experience

Status: Completed. 

This work package is linked to Work Package 2 and aims to explore the implementation of PSIRF over time across the multiple levels of an NHS organisation and within the wider regulatory and public service context.

We are undertaking an organisational ethnography at six NHS organisations. This includes interviews and focussed observations to understand how people involved with patient safety incident responses (e.g. patients and families, healthcare staff, patient safety, risk management and governance teams, investigators, commissioners etc.) are experiencing PSIRF.
